The career of professional truck driving requires the highest degree of integrity, dedication and commitment along with passion, however, truck driving can be very demanding and even lonesome at times being away from our homes and families while on the road.

Professional Truck Drivers United (PTDU), headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of professional truck drivers and trucking companies and the freight transportation industry as a whole. Our goal is to build and maintain a nationwide online community and presence that will provide a centralized “meeting place”. We seek to provide up-to-date information, tools and resources needed for professional drivers to have right at their fingertips. Whether you’re a employee driver, union or non-union, independent or owner operator, but it can be difficult to find the resources you may be seeking in one location. We believe when professional drivers unite together, we can create the resources the same as any other community of professionals.

We offer free membership and an up-and-coming online community that will offer professional drivers the resources and tools they need to succeed. We aim to be a one-stop-shop for the freight transportation industry to contract with drivers and for drivers to share trucking news, resources and advice with each other all across America.
